A passion for creating art that celebrates nature.

I am an artist with a passion for creating artwork that celebrates nature and the natural beauty we find all around us. I especially love painting Native birds and plants, as they make me feel more connected to the ones I see around me in our beautiful country of New Zealand. Each time I paint one of these incredible birds I grow a bigger appreciation for the wonderful intricacy in their design.

I have always loved art from the time I was a child. Creativity runs in my family, and I have been exposed to artistic people from the day I was born. I have always felt a real need to create in some way or another. The more I did it, the more I loved it. It’s a dream come true to be able to pursue my passion as my job now.

I grew up in Dunedin, and enjoyed putting my work in exhibitions each year from the age of 12. Since then I have moved to Ōtautahi, Christchurch, where I spend my days painting from home and enjoying the lively market scene.

Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of being able to expand my creative practice into new and exciting areas such as painting murals, teaching classes, and illustrating a children’s book.
